Just from last nights posts and ones like the one you quoted...it's nuts. The dude has played 1 FREAKIN GAME and he's being anointed as the Astros' own Johnny Bench. Can't wait for the reaction to his next game if he goes 0-4 with 3k and 2 errors.

I'm not understanding Fisher batting leadoff. Are we in the 1990's and you play the fast guy leadoff? (That could explain the jorts Bregman rocked earlier this year.) Do the Astros expect he'll be able to get on base?

Just got to Vegas, putting $100 on the stros. Might not be the smartest move...

Don't know why he originally got a shot... but Hinch tends to do things more than once if it seemingly worked.

No science behind it... then again, no science against it either.

Miley seems like he's shaved since last time. It worked well for him last time. It's a good sign. We need EVERY good sign we can get.

Oakland A's down 12-7 to the Angels in the 11th inning.

Would be awesome to sweep the Cubs and extend our lead to 8.5 games going into the series with Oakland on Friday.

Denizens of the Crawford Boxes not doing their job to try to blow that ball towards center field.

    Hush!

He mistakenly shaved his beard off before his start before the this. Gotta keep it the same now, right?

I'd get the hell over it, but that's just me.

eta: @Joe Joe : what would you do differently with the limited roster?

So, who broke the humidor at MMP?

Ball has been flying there much worse than any other recent time. Still can't fathom how JBJ hit that ball off Pressly that far, in that direction.

    Yuli.

How many times do you need to look at strikes with men on base and 2 outs?

Fat guy should be able to hit this pitcher. Pitches coming nice, slow and fat.

Only 10 HRs? Feels like all of their(Cubs) runs have come via HR.
