I agree...this will be the next Ryan Anderson contract. Pair that up with the CP3 deal, its going to look bleak soon.

He's also unplayable against GS. Cavs had to go to TRISTAN THOMPSON over him to match up against Draymond. Pass. Need wing players.

Man this Love thing reminds me of the Melo situation in a way.

Maybe analytics say that it will work but the eye/head/heart test worries me to no end.
We need tough players with heart and Love just doesn't seem to be that kind of player, healthy or not.

Plus I don't want to lose Clint.
Maybe he's unplayable against G.S. but we have to get to them each year 1st.

Our guys are such poor defenders of the drive it'll be a mad dash to the hoop.
There were numerous games this year when that happened when Clint was out. Ole' defense.
And although he can be backed down under the hoop he's our best defender BY FAR of drives at the rim.

Plus I hate to lose EG.
It's not just that he gives us 3pt shooting it's that he shoots from 5' behind the 3pt line consistently, thusly spacing the floor for James really well.

If he stays healthy and goes all out on defense, he can work vey well here.

IF and DEFENSE being two very key words.

What are the odds we would be trading for TWolves KLove vs Cavs KLove?.... 10%... you willing to bank on those odds?

    I’d prefer both to Capela

cyberx - thanks for your info. Are you saying that CC is currently being offered? Also, what is the trade value of Gordon's contract across the rest of the league?

Like the player, but we need athleticism and youth to fill gaps. We've proven that Harden makes washed ups look better than they are, and come playoff time they are what they are. Washed up or thrown away. Unable to step up and deliver. We can't continue to live in this wasteland again, can we....

Man, this cannot be said enough imo, aside for getting another star, i really think a priority for this summer should be getting younger/longer/faster...more athletic in general. I feel like we're kinda weak in the paint, short overall, slow on the perimeter...and yeah, we're an old team.

I can't find a way in which you build an elite defense with Love, Harden and Paul onto the court at the same time. Pass.

I'm not really sure why the cavs would take on CC's contract in exchange for love...

This Love idea ain't gone work. I'd rather Paul Millsap or someone who can develop into a player like him. Julius Randle?

Randle would be awesome, but he's likely to be out of our price range.

If we have Kevin love and Irving in the team plus harden, I think we can beat warriors

I’m not a fan of having “a Ferrari that is always in the shop.”

Randle is an FA so maybe the Rockets could swap him for CC. He would be great next to Harden
