The only players we could possibly move at this point are Gordon and Capela. Tucker is too old to move, Harden isn’t going anywhere, and neither is CP3. We could possibly try to move Hartenstein. House is a restricted free agent and Edwards as well. Everyone else is a free agent aside from Nene (player option). Hopefully Nene retires and we are able to sign and trade House/Edwards. Faried is probably gone after the way D’Antoni treated him in the playoffs. Shumpert might be back but I think Rivers is going to get paid huge money by some other team. Rockets don’t have much room to sign any big name free agents. Especially Jimmy Butler unfortunately.

The only move is either getting kd or lebron. Maybe kawhi or AD. Other than that this team isn’t a real championship contender

It's the same plan the Texans have for protecting Deshaun Watson: hope & a prayer :D

More likely can we trade EG for Lou Williams and Trez?

Keep contending or just look good in the regular season and keep beating the Jazz?

The biggest and most glaring problem has been rebounding and interior (offense and defense)

You start with a wholesale change in the philosophy, trying to implement a system or design plays you can rely on. Tweaks here and there will not make us contend.
So there you go : I don’t agree with you premise that we are contending and keep doing it.

I think the way we are doing it is a appearance of contending with false hope.

    Drastic change needed.

The Rockets are in Cap Hell with little to no chance in upgrading the roster.

Good luck with trying to find better players to play for minimum contracts.

Tillman can talk all he wants but he’s not gonna find the bill on a team that is proven to underachieve.

So this article sums up that the Rockets are going to be 2019-2020 Western Conf Semifinals losers again. Nice!

which is why Harden should demand a trade

I’d like to see what Harden could accomplish if he had actual star help or a Big 3...we know what happens when it’s him and a bunch of role players, he can’t get it done

Yeah imagine if he played with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. He’d probably win a championship! ;)

Welp we've officially hit the mountain top. Only place to go is down now. Full rebuild. Trade everyone.

Actually just sell the team to Seattle.

What is Jimmy Butler's relationship with Tom Thibodeau? If they're close, replace MDA with TT and go after Butler.

    Clint Capela
    P.J. Tucker
    Jimmy Butler
    James Harden
    Chris Paul

This is a much better, tougher, and bigger starting 5 and Gordon can go back to being the primary bench scorer. Butler could even be a small-ball 5 when Tucker's resting.

How are we supposed to get butler with our cap situation without trading Gordon and tucker? How is this big and tough all you did was replace Gordon with butler and he’s hardly the problem we have.

Davis has a history of health issues. Can he stay healthy?

Davis could play half the games and the playoffs and this would be a huge win for us. Question is irrelevant since we aren’t getting him
