    I didn't watch the ad or have anything to say about it. Just wanted to say that, man, this is a good quote for life. Generalized, I would think it goes like: "Don't let X live rent free in your head."

    Nothing wrong with New Balance - I see lots of fashionable dudes rocking them. They have come a long way from their old Dad shoes reputation and actually have some pretty dope colorways these days. They have also had a decent rep of having solid running shoes - especially for people with wider feet/particular types of pronation.

    That being said, I'm a little scared at what they are doing with basketball shoes - obviously that's not their wheelhouse and aside from being basketball famous, Kawhi's on and off court image doesn't seem to fit with the brand image they are going for with the rest of their shoes but I guess he was willing/available and if he somehow manages to collect and MVP or win a ring it's a good opportunity to increase their exposure in that market segment. If they can take some of cool points of their lifestyle brand shoes and bring them into the basketball market I think they can make some headway(honestly Adidas has proven there is a larger market share to be won there from Nike) but so far the makeups they have leaked online have been underwhelming at best. I'm soooo tired of men's shoes being available in the same 3 colors over and over again. Not sure what price point they are trying to sell at but I can't imagine anyone looking for a pair of black or white basketball shoes choosing New Balance over Nike, Adidas, or UA.
