    There’s a difference between can’t and won’t.

the latter is far worse as it speaks to character.

So true, but also speaks of the dysfunction of Washington.

Y’all are worrying way too much about Keiffs defense. The man had no passion in WAS anymore. Team was bad and the chemistry was dirt poor. A change of scenery on a contending team with championship aspirations changes all that. He’s a great shooter than can stretch the floor for Harden, EG, Rivers, and now Iman. Look out for Houston to use him in small lineups with Faried, could be scary good.

I think Marcus has made good progress, more than I expected. He has become a valuable rotation player who can be relied upon even when things aren't going well. Markieff has regressed on both ends of the floor. He seems to be somewhat unmotivated. I hope he will pay attention and learn from Tucker, if he comes to Houston. It will do him a lot of good.

Playing with Harden will not hurt him either

This year is the only year that Markieff Morris has had a negative Defensive BPM. I wouldn't stress about his defence too much.

Yada yada typical hopeful bs. "Yeah, but Brandon Knight was just on a tanking team. He'll probably lock down and focus on a championship team." "Yeah, but Marquisse Chriss/Melo will get buckets playing with Harden and Paul." Sometimes, there's a reason why the team is bad with them on the floor. Stop trying to convince yourself otherwise.

Would be ok with Morris here. Hopefully that would signal a real rotation of 10 players a night? There’s enough minutes for everyone.

    Paul (30), Rivers (14)
    Harden (36), Gordon (26)
    Shumpert (26), Green (14)
    Tucker (30), Morris (20)
    Capela (30), Faried (14)

this is a legit chip worthy roster. Nobody should cry for more minutes, everyone should be happy to have fresher legs and go harder during their playing time.

This would be a gigantic lineup in Houston.

As much as I was underwhelmed with the deadline if you had told me we would enter the season with this lineup I’d have been ecstatic!

It seems like worst case scenario we’re going to end up with House instead of Kief. He’ll have to play big but seems like he’d be ok in that role.

I never had high hopes for MCW, Chriss, or Knight. If anything I expected better from Melo and got what I expected from Ennis.
Knight was hurt 99% of the time. MCW was and has always been a bum, not sure what DM was thinking there. Chriss was sent to us as a throw in and MDA gave him a chance but just couldn’t put it together. And Melo either refused or just didn’t fit in our system so he took his ball and went home.

Man we'd be right up there with philly and denver as far as talent goes. Now imagine if we didnt spend the trade deadline cutting cost
