I'll complain. This is a terrible trade. We gave him a way for free. At a bare minimum he would have been good depth. This is again nothing but a move to get closer to the tax line.

I hated the Shumpert trade but in a vacuum, he is an obvious upgrade from Ennis.

Having said that...this is another trade strictly to shed cash. Tilman is not even trying to hide it at this point. That is his only concern.

I thought he would be gone. There are only so many minutes and Ennis struggled on switches.

Don't forget that Ennis has a small guarantee for next year that the Rockets wanted to get out of as well.

So much for our Summer moves.

This. That better not be it. Ennis is a rotational guy we can use in the playoffs and giving him up for nothing doesn't make sense.

Is this to setup another move, or for saving money?

    Interesting...

    Baldwin, Stauskas on deck.

Nene is our only player left for any sort of significant salary in a trade, assuming we won’t deal EG or PJ. (TPEs?)

Basically gave Ennis away, and he had enough value for somebody to take him for free.

House will be back at some point, one way or another combined with the addition of Shumpert made him very expendable.

This isn't about his fit, this is about getting under the tax. That's it.

I was wondering where we would find minutes for Shumpert - here is the answer.

Ehh we got something out of him, but yeah he never reached expectations.

It is almost like Daryl signed someone because he had to this summer, not because he wanted to.
