Disappointed, but very proud of the team and organization. Get healthy and let’s get em next season.

Astros lost Four consecutive playoff games.

    '05 World Series-esque.

    SAD... but Future is bright.

    Teams come back from blowouts
Teams come back from late-game chokes
No team comes back from a jobbing at the hands of the officials.

**** Bud Sleig and David Stern, and **** their groomed successors, Rob Manfred and Adam Silver.

I don't buy Bregman gave them any more fuel than they already had. This is the playoffs. Everybody should already be up for this given what is at stake. That said...Bregman got some karma back for a dumb move on social media.

It’s hard to imagine Boston losing to LA or Milwaukee, but that’s why they play a series

Sucks to go out like this. Not even impressed at all by Boston. Stros just didn't show up when it counted.

He was spying on other teams to make sure they weren't stealing our signals. Not my report, this is what was reported some days ago and is likely the truth because neither team said anything about it

If I wanted to be a salty ***** and I do, maybe that's why the Red Sox became machines at the plate after he was gone because they went back to their sign stealing ways.

I have confidence in this organization. Yes it sucks to lose but this team is built for the long haul. Just so hard to repeat in baseball but I could see this team having a similar run to the Giants and Cardinals of a few seasons ago taking turns winning every other year.

Win 108 games in the regular season, win 4 in a row against a team that won the World Series last year and won 103 this year. Tough crowd. Tip your hat is what I say. That’s just me.

Cora clearly had insider info on what the Astros do. Really a conflict of interest.

I think it does honestly. Id imagine you go into chill mode after winning a championship which carries into the season. Even though the players can say, 'we don't care about last season..', I think you unknowingly let off the gas.

Agreed, Astros got crushed. It wasn't like this was a one game Wild Card.

Saw this posted on the ESPN boards:

From a Cubs fan to the Astros fans right now. We sympathize with you.

After you win that championship with a dominant team built with that young core and dominant pitching staff, you feel like you're going to win them all. The next year, you're right back in the LCS, and even though you don't have home field advantage, you still feel like you're going to win because you beat this same team in the postseason last year. Then you suddenly lose a game. Then you lose again. Then you realize that the other team is just better this year.

Your team will be back. The Astros were built to be good for a long time, just like my favorite team was. Congratulations on a great season.
