Dallas will also have to give up something of significance to acquire DeAndre Jordan.

Lol no Jordan is worthless value wise at this point. He's on a overpaid contract and will be an expiring. Clips will be Lucky to get cap space and a couple of 2nds at best.

That would be great for the Rockets.

There will be no team out there that would give capella the MAX. I just hope the Rockets and DM arent stupid enough to bid against themselves. I would offer Clint $12 mil starting :)

Morey will give him an offer, probable low, then let the market set the final deal.

Dallas needs to be looking to get younger not to get older with a crap roster they have.

I don't think the Rockets can trade Capela as he is a RFA. You have to wait a year for that.

It depends on when the signing happened. If Capela was offered a deal with another team and the Rockets matched, then there can be no sign and trade (as Houston has to keep him on their roster for a period of 1 year I believe). If Houston signed Capela outright before he signs an offer sheet with another team then it appears Houston could sign and trade him.

They do tend to take our overpaid players and pay them even more so morey doesn't accidentally do another Ryno deal. They been low key helping us for a while.

Okay, got it. I thought the Clippers might have been able to get more than that. A first rounder and a future 2nd. Gortat for Rivers clearly shows Jordan is on the way out.

Does the acquiring team pay the trade kicker cost?
