It's hard to say, we have a 20M anchor known as Ryan Anderson on our team that is really what is holding us back we are paying Anderson 3M more than GSW is paying Klay Thompson let that sick in for a min. GSW has 5 stars on their team, 4 if without Steph they are still the most stacked team in NBA history and they have a consensus top 3 NBA player so any other team is unfavored against them.

I think we do have a chance but that honestly depends on Luc, Nene, Capela and Tucker balling out of their minds. GSW has a weak bench so maybe we can exploit that if our bench explodes. I say we have 40% chance of bearing them with Steph injured like he is.

If Eric Gordon can find his shot and the Rockets limit the stupid turnovers, then yes they can beat GSW.

If Eric Gordon shows up, then yes. Otherwise, no.

Exactly, he will need to play like the following 5 players in consistency against Warriors. (the best year)
    Manu Ginobili
    Tony Kukoc
    Vinnie Johnson
    Jason Terry
    Robert Horry

At this moment, Rockets benches are trash compared to Championship teams.

    You're ignoring defense buddy.

The Cavs defense was atrocious. Far worse than this teams.

Vegas gives this team a much better shot at beating GS than last years Cavs for a reason.

    Good points!

Rockets have 7 top tier defenders, IMO.

Great thread @Air Langhi - let's focus on the draft bc obviously we don't stand a chance.

Lol, it was probably their biggest regular season game and we were playing with a 1 legged Chris Paul who left after Dray

But sure, they were barely taking it seriously.

Ryno was a bit of a beast in that first game. He had like 13 rebounds

Any ideas to fix the Rockets benches?

I see huge problem in everything - bench defense, bench rebounding, bench scoring, bench spacing, bench timing, bench court vision ......

For playoffs only, Warriors have a better bench.

West, Iggy, Livingston and Cook are smarter than Rockets bench.

All of them have a good court vision and passing skills.

    Disagree:

IMO, the key advantage Rockets are over Warriors are Gordon and Ryan.

They need to be great in offense in May, otherwise ....

GS is vulnerable if you can pressure them into turnovers. If we play like a top 5 defense and we shoot our 3s like we are capable then yes we can win.

The problem is doing that four games out of seven.

Amazing that everything is Anderson’s fault

Honestly, after seeing them blow out the Pelicans the other night, I was wondering the same thing. But, seeing the Rockets first half today, I can see the Rockets matching up. They will have to get through the Jazz who showed you they can come back from a punch in the face. The rest of the series will be closer. Holding home court will be key against GS. It would also be nice is Gordan and Ryno could get untracked. Ryno has not had many opportunities, but Gordan has been awful.
