Lowry wanted to come but Morey wanted him to wait on Melo's decision. Hence he stayed in Toronto after feeling disrespected..All indications were he wanted to play with Harden.

The most important reason to remove Morey as GM is because Houston is blacklisted by certain really good players. When the best experienced big men refuse to come to Houston you know it's because of a guy like Daryl Morey that proclaims them as 'Assets'.

As much as I hate to say it, Morey is becoming one.

Lowry was resigning to Toronto no matter what. He was enjoying his best year and they made it a point that he was their number 1.

Rockets Vs. Top 5 teams in each conference:

    Cavs 128-120 L
    Hawks 112-97 L
Spurs 101-99 W (That Spurs team was not the same without Tony Parker. They lost 3 straight without him)
    Spurs 106-100 L
    Raptors 115-102 L

They are 3-7 against playoff teams thanks to the Knicks, Jazz, and Tony Parker.

It's been well established that he was considering Houston, he even said it himself.

The Rockets are also operating with Anderson getting major minutes in all those losses so it's not like the Rox are at full strength. The goal in the beginning season is to just survive, the team almost always changes after the deadline
