Bill Brown retiring after 2016 season

    Sorry but wrong and wrong. Ford and Sparks are a good team on the radio and light years better than the 2 that were here previously.

    Ashby is just trying too hard when he's in the color seat. Worse, it carries over when he's pbp. You can tell in Brown and Blum's voice that they are annoyed with some of the comments and "jokes" that he attempts to make. He's trying to be Deshaies and Dierker but he's not smart enough and witty enough to be that type of analyst.

    It was my understanding that Blum doesn't want to work full time. IIRC, he still lives in CA and meets the team on the road.

    I used to think you couldn't get any worse than those two who were here previously then I heard ford and sparks. I find them boring and uninteresting with little ability to communicate the game effectively. I'm not saying Ashby is as good as Deshaies at all. I actually liked Ashby better when he was on the radio.

    Nah, it's people like that who enable the Alan Ashby's of the world to find gainful employment. It's kind of a charity thing if you look at it that way.
