James Posey got a ring too... Haha, I guess it's a good idea to be a coach after being a Rocket (for whatever length).

Green's legitimate great play in game 7, without the antics, redeems himself.. To be honest, trade James Harden for a legit pg and Draymond Green, puts the Rockets in a better position right now.

That block was awesome, but it happened in the middle of the game. Hakeem's block won the game, it sealed the deal. It's different, have some respect. If you go back in Hakeem's career, he has lots of highlight blocks in the middle of games, but only one to seal a Finals victory. As special as LeBron's block was, it didn't win the game, his free throw to go up 4 did.

Here's a better block that's from the middle of a game:

It's a better block because that was a sure dunk that was defended by no one.

Epic choke job by the warriors and disappointing performance by the Curry in the finals, hope they take this to heart and come back strong next year to win 75 games and blank the Cavs 4 0. :)

    I've explained my reasoning.
No need to continue posting videos of plays many of us remember clearly!! ;)
Well, for the relative newbs, maybe keep posting... I get that.

For whatever reason I usually prefer the Olajuwon block on Rod Strickland to the KJ one, but they were both legit.
And of course the various blocks on Jordan.

I get it, there's a reason MJ picks Hakeem as the best center ever. Because he's probably the best big man defender ever. The only one that could play in today's NBA as well as in his NBA as well as in the NBA of the 50s. Whereas a lot of the greats, would be run off the court in today's speed NBA. Shaq simple WOULD NOT be as effective in todays NBA, because he was a horrible PnR defender, and a horrible free throw shooter. He'd still dominate offensively, of course. Hakeem would be as good in today's NBA, if not better. Good chance he'd have a 35% three pointer in today's NBA.

    I get it.

But I provided my reasons on the Lebron block, as a moment of history that will undoubtedly be ranked higher than Hakeem's on Stark by the general public.

I would've never guessed that J.R. Smith was the type to cry and what he said in his post game interview and how he has carried himself, he has earned my respect. Lebron finally showed he can win it in Cleveland and it's a great thing in itself, but also for the league, the man's legacy and some of the guys on that team. Hopefully it will not turn into a Tyron Lue is one of the best coaches ever, like with Kerr, J.R. will not go full Green, their guys keep their mouth shut and spread the LOVE. Stay humble and just show you can do it again.

Also, while I hated the Warriors as much as the next man, but there's no reason to hate on Curry personally based on the unanimous voting (not Curry's fault) or how he played. He just got outplayed by Westbrook and Irving, but still lead a team to 73-9 so hope people are not taking the media lovefest, Warriors bandwagon fans, cocky attitude and all that to now start dumping on the guy and acting like he's a chump.

Although I don't dwell on games and over-analyze, this was a tough one, because I thought I was on the right side when picking GSW in 7, but you can't win them all. The Green suspension really changed the series, because the Warriors were heading for 4-1 series victory and then injuries piled up and momentum shifted and remained with the Cavs. The Warriors just weren't right this post-season. You don't lose 9 games in the post-season after only losing 9 games in the regular season. People aren't going to want to hear this, but I think in the end the injuries did them in. Curry wasn't the same after getting injured, Bogut's loss was bigger than what most people thought, especially since his backups gave the team nothing, and Iggy didn't look right with his back injury. It was really surprising to see how ineffective their offense was in Game 7, but even with all this, the game was right there for them in the end. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they basically got nothing from everyone other than Draymond Green and Cavs made the plays to win the game. Even though they won the series, I don't think the Cavs team are a better than GSW. As a matter of fact, they're probably the 4th best team in the NBA after SAS, OKC, and the Warriors. They just benefit from being in the East. Let's see how Cleveland does with the target on their backs now. I fully expect GSW and the Cavs (since they have such an easier road) to be back in The Finals next year with the Warriors winning and people talking about how they were a Draymond Green suspension away from 3-peating. Congrats to those who said Cleveland in 7. At least nobody here is as bad as Stephen A. Smith in picking the winner of The Finals:

Huge divide in the Bay Area between the real basketball fans, who saw what happened, and all the bandwagon fans, who just blame the refs.

Kind of sad that some people can't appreciate what the Cavs did and admit how the Warriors players (and coaching staff, in game 7 especially) underperformed.

I agree with your comments on injuries (and the suspension) being the reasons the Warriors lost. Should have been 4-1 even though Curry was never totally right after D-Mo's sweat took him down. But this post-season makes up for last year when the Warriors played injury-weakened opponents each round.
