LOL. Yeah, Morey made lots of good trades. Somehow the ones that failed turned out to be good failures.

    Forgot which thread.

Referencing the 76ers in a reply, he said something about "we need those 6ers to get our near 7ers" or something to that effect.

Made me wonder if we're going after one of those near 7 foot centers they have (Okafor and Noel are both listed at 6'11"; Embiid I don't care about his height because his injuries make him 2 inches tall, for all he's worth so far). Whether or not this is to keep or 3-way I couldn't say. He's clammed up since.

I'm guessing we're not going after Landry who wears #7 but "near 7" made me think of the Okafor-Noel thing.

Cod specifically mentioned Noel in an earlier post, but idk if that was him just saying that he personally would like to see Noel or the team, or if he's actually being mentioned in trade conversations. That would be a great pickup for us, though the injuries are concerning.

With Jack off the table, where will Morey go to add a ball-handler?

Because it makes no sense more than likely it was codmans personal opinion on the 6ers big and wish.

It looks every day more likely the one whi will get traded is okafor but not for what we have. Either tried to be part of a package for a star or straight up for a young guard. For example cj mcollum or shroeder or smart etc. Rockets are not a match at all.

It now looks as if Terry wants out and for sure he'll get moved before the deadline.

Codman is probably more tuned in than you know but as far as we're aware, you in Greece and me in Houston and Cod in Phoenix, yes, sure, he might be speculating.

Obviously the Rockets aren't a match for Okafor. Even if we could get him (not holding my breath, although DMo was Hinkie's baby and would be one of the pieces included; again, not holding my breath) he'd probably be routed elsewhere for........who the hell knows.

    Come on January 15th.

That's quite a reach... remember that the only reason Terry picked houston over dallas is because he thought dallas wouldn't be that good....so if Morey asks him if he'd be cool with being traded and then released, there's no reason for Terry to say no. He loves Dallas, they're playing well, and he lives there. It's the ideal situation for him, regardless of how Houston is doing.
