He probably would have gotten frustrated with an inconsistent at best Deron Williams and left as a free agent.

those NYC teams could combine rosters capspace and draft picks the next 5 years and still suck.

I find it funny how he just ignore the player Blazers got for Wallace and the 2nd best player of that draft.

If you think about it, it's crazy how many stupid things Billy King did after Dwight didn't go. Wallace trade. Wallace re-signing. Joe Johnson trade. KG/Pierce trade. Man, what a joke of a GM.

That is one of the biggest understatements I have ever seen.

He literally mentioned Lillard in the sentence before the one you highlighted. I do agree with your post btw. It is great watching the trainwreck the nets have become. And with no 1rd draft picks in sight there is little hope for improvement.

Holy crap, that's a lot. I'm kind of surprised the Magic said No to that.

Nets should copy Hinkie's modus operandi. Trade everyone for picks.

Sure if missing the playoffs and winning 43-44 games sounds fun.

I think Howard would have bolted on the Nets as well. I don't think it was just Kobe that drove him out of town, it was the lack of a coach that understood big men. Kidd would not have been enough to keep him.

Hmm i doubt DD is joking about wanting to trade Howard. He would do it in a second.

What was the agreed upon deal Morey had on the table before Dwight waived his player option?

I would for the right price, because I believe he is declining - and not going to be worth the next contract he is going to want.
