He kept saying Nuggets are dealing with injuries while ignoring the Rockets' situation.

Some of you guys are too sensitive. I thought Hubie was pretty fair.

LOL at those defending him, he only "gushed" over our guys when he had no choice, all other times he sounded like the local Denver fan!

Man, people really hear what they want to hear. This reminds me of the "Why does JVG hate the Grizz" thread" what posted in the NBA Dish.

Hubie really gets on the underdog bandwagon, it's not team specific

He was ok. My problem is when he thinks close calls on replay are "obvious calls". ,

bingo, I said it in the game thread.

and he's an old school coach, he loves to coach the young guys from behind the mic so may be ill-placed but he ends up rooting a little for them EVERY time, Im ok with it

I just thoroughly enjoyed his pronunciation of "Faried" throughout the broadcast.

Hubie was fine - I felt it was the main play by play guy that seemed to either be pulling for the Nuggets or just did not like the Rockets. Hubie was pretty fair, but the other guy was like purposefully trying to jinx guys and kept trying to insinuate that Harden was flopping on the two plays he got knocked down (def Harden probably exaggerated a bit but he did get hit hard both plays)

They had a whole graphic of the players the Rockets were missing explaining why the bench only had 5 points.. Come on now! There are plenty of people bagging on the Rockets, lets not roll Hubie into this.

Needs to retire tbh. Maybe pop his head up around playoffs or something. He wasn't really bad tonight, but you can feel that senile stench coming from the TV imo.

So you are saying that over the course of the game he praised both teams? Sounds like a good national TV announcer to me.
