Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess). 6-30 Taijuan Walker, RHP vs. Collin McHugh, RHP 7:10 7-1 Hisashi Iwakuma, RHP vs. Jarred Cosart, RHP 7:10 7-2 Chris Young, RHP vs. Brad Peacock, RHP 1:10
With McHugh and Cosart going, we will win one of those. Chris Young is insanely due for some regression, I think we tee off on him. WLW
Because he is 4-23 in the past week or so. Because we almost swept the Tigers with Altuve-Springer-Singleton at the 1-2-3. Because Porter makes reasonable decisions.

Porter is definitely all over the place... maybe if he'd have given Fowler the random day off here and there (like he does with everybody else), he'd be a little healthier (instead, he's played in every game since he came back from the stomach bug). However, Qualls is unavailable after nights of pitching 9 and 12 pitch innings, and he definitely can't pitch multiple innings. Yet he brought in Fields to close in 3 consecutive games (each with decent pitch outings) earlier this year which resulted in a BS the third game (granted maybe this is Porter learning from his mistakes, and taking the ultra-cautious route... but that's also the problem with inexperienced managers who like to tinker).
