Detroit is 11 games over .500 and in first place in there division. The scary part, as it relates to this series, is that ALL those 11 games are on the road. Detroit leads the majors in road record at 24-13.
Verlander has really struggled this year by his standards, so tonight I expect us to....get him healthy. The way our offense has been performing, scoring against this trio will probably be very hard. Hopefully we salvage a game. Not-So fun fact, over the last 10 games Tuve/Springer/Fowler have scored or driven in 17 runs. The entire rest of the team has only contributed 9 runs that didn't involve the top 3. We really have to start getting contribution from the rest of the team aside from the occasional HR.
Me too! I haven't pre-gamed downtown in a while. Are there still places across Texas or is Lucky's the closest place? We always enter on Crawford, so we're never on Texas...did they demolish those buildings??
Don't worry about Verlander. I've started him on my fantasy team. That equals at least 6 or 7 runs against him.
