    Nervous for Singleton that his first ABs have to come against C.J. Wilson. He dominates lefties.

    Yeah, I'm stunned his debut will come against a lefty, especially a very good one.

    I kind of expect he'll sit at least 50% of the time against lefty starters.

    Nah I think he's here to play every day, regardless of who is pitching. They didn't give him $10MM guaranteed to give Carter/Guzman many starts at 1B.

    I tend to agree. You don't typically pay a guy like that and have him sit that often.

    I think even Porter said that Singleton will be playing every day.

    At this point there is no reason to sit Singleton, unless it's to give him a day off. Otherwise, he needs to be getting plate time.

    It really isn't that often.

    Those day offs will come against lefties. A fairly common practice.

    A straight platoon he would never start against lefties, which isn't what they'll do.

    Hitting .309 against lefties this season. Maybe he'll have a fighting chance against Wilson.

    That's one of the things they've specifically said has most impressed the brass this season, he looks much, much more comfortable against LHP.

    He will play every day, only way to develop vs lhp is to play against lhp
