Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess). 5-22 Jarred Cosart, RHP vs. Roenis Elias, LHP 9:10 5-23 Brad Peacock, RHP vs. Felix Hernandez, RHP 9:10 5-24 Dallas Keuchel, LHP vs. Brandon Maurer, RHP 9:10 5-25 Scott Feldman, RHP vs. Hisashi Iwakuma, RHP 3:10
I would kill to have the Astros in the NL West. Told my son this morning that the CSN thing makes it really difficult to follow a team playing in a new division I don't know well. With a few exceptions, I don't really know the players on the teams in our own division...that's new territory for me.
Totally agree, for the most part I have no history with or knowledge of anyone we play. Maybe territory for a new/different thread, but.... The Leagues as we know them are going the way of the dodo. DH will be everywhere, it's inevitable. Given that, and given the scuttlebutt of "geographic realignment" that accompanies it, what would your dream scenario be?
Great great question!!! And I agree, that's where it's going. I'd be fine being in a division with the teams in the NL West sans Arizona...my guess is they're going to keep the Rangers and Astros in the same division from this point forward, though. Mariners bore the pants off me. I'd be fine not being in a division with that team.
I would suspect the Astros would be in a division with the Rangers, Rockies, Diamondbacks, and Mariners if MLB realigns. It would keep 5 teams in California together. San Diego would be an option for the Division if MLB is nice to the Mariners and puts them with the LA and Bay Area teams.
