Austin, Texas Members - Lavaca Street Bar & Grill Playoff Watch Parties

im there.. would be much nicer to see the games on a tv instead of on a computer screen.

 

I'm probably going to end up at Lavaca street just because I've heard there reserving the back room for the Rockets games and all my friends are comfortable with it from the Texans season.

I like the idea of Crown & Anchor and Dirty Martin's though, definitely two of my favorite places to grab some beer and a burger.

 

i'm in austin, but have no idea where to go..

anyone know where i can go and meet fellow rockets fans to watch the games?

i haven't been there since my college days. do they play audio on their TV's? that's what i liked best about third base.

 

they do, depending on the game. Just ask the waitress.

Much better food and staff at the saucer.

 

I'll be at Doc's on Soco. That is the place to be. Went there every Sunday for football and the atmosphere is awesome.

 

Wherever you guys end up is it cool if I bring 8-10 hot girls with me??

Lavaca Street can be a bear to get to, but I will say this: the addition of Turf N Surf as the in-house kitchen has made it awesome. I hit that place up for work lunch all of the time.

The Tavern has a couple of advantages: tons of televisions and an easy-to-access location. The service there is always terrible, though, and the environment can be sterile. Although, the environment could follow us.

Crown and Anchor doesn't seem like good idea when school's in session for us non-students, plus they have small televisions.

Black Sheep Lodge is a fun place, but can get very crowded. Good food and lots of televisions (and south, if that matters to ya).
