    Agreed. That trade only makes sense for the Rockets and Hawks. Lakers give up the best player in the deal and get back the worst player and a low draft pick?

    Good point! My thought process would be Scola is a better fit when you consider J. Smith would be taking shots from Kobe and Bynum. Scola is more of a "trash" player - meaning he doesn't need plays run for him and plays well off others. His best years were when he was playing off Yao and mcgrady. Plus I was thinking that #18 might be worth something to the Lakers. This is a mighty deep draft and if someone falls in that range they like (P. jones?) it might tip the scales in the rockets direction.

    I think money is the #1 reason LA will have trouble unloading Gasol. Sure he's got plenty left in the tank but at that price? They can't expect to get much back.

    Is anyone surprised Morris hasn't been dealt? Is it because he is unproven and no team wants him or do the Rockets believe he can be the real deal?
