Duke Johnson is better than David Johnson, but the Texans keep forcing David Johnson just because they want to justify making that awful trade.

I'm not terribly upset. It was only disappointing because we blew the lead and a chance to win, but I never expected us to be in this game in the first place. Derrick Henry against our run defense was never going to work out well for us. I was surprised the Titans were only favored by 3.5.

Our defense really couldn't stop them from moving the ball. They only punted once on the first drive of the game. We forced 2 turnovers and they missed 2 field goals and that's what kept it from being a blowout.

Sure it would have ended it, but why not put pressure on Titans to score AND get two? Going for it on 4th down to get the 7pt lead (before the extra point) wasn’t the same logic. That’s a play that has to happen.

pause it at 3 seconds,Watson having to reset after avoiding the edge rusher teleporting caused the move up to the pocket giving the defender a chance to gather himself and tip. Kelly when not wasting downs on the run has had the right calls.

Why? He couldn't build a champion in basketball, why would he work in football?

He couldn't build a champion in basketball because other teams stack superstar players.

I think his approach would work 10x better in the NFL because in the NFL you have a harder cap. Getting as much value as you can from every player is the name of the game here. Morey certainly isn't letting Duane Brown go just to pay another LT more money and give up picks or trading an elite WR for a HB that was going to get cut, I know that much for sure.

Ending the game has more value than making a team make a 2-pt conversion.

I'd rather see what Scottie Phillips has than to continue with the David Johnson experiment

He tried to reinvent the sport. But let's get a football guy with a vision. Allow him hire his coach, cap specialist and chase his vision. Morey doesn't know the NFL, give me someone who knows the league.

On what planet would the Titans only have had a 40% chance to complete a hypothetical 2 pt conversion?? The Texans defense was Swiss cheese literally ALL GAME LONG. A simply off-tackle run by Derrick Henry probably would have had a 75% chance of working on the goal line, let alone an actual play call from the sidelines. Going for 2 was 100% the CORRECT decision.....it just didn't work out.

Definitely have no problem going for 2. When you are the underdog you have to take chances to win. If you can give Watson a chance with 1 play to win it you do it 100% of the time. Too many good quarter backs in this league to play conservative.

Our defense gave up 600 yards and let them drive length of field for touchdown with only like 1:40 left and 1 timeout. We were not stopping them.

He did reinvent the sport. Football should be changed as well. Too many goal line power runs. That stuff never works. Punting on 4th down to Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Rodgers, and basically any good QB is like a loss 90% of the time and you see teams keep doing it.

I would love to have Morey with an owner willing to spend like the Texans. The only reason Morey didn’t win on the Rockets is cuz CP3 got hurt and then our owner realized he couldn’t afford luxury tax and sold the team but he sold it to another guy who could t afford the luxury tax. He blew up a 65 win team for no reason other than to save money. Wasting first round picks for tax savings and not resigning our players and not using MLE. Morey didn’t have a shot. Warriors and Cavs payroll was 40 million more than ours.

Not to mention he was one of the best cap guys ever. And one of the smartest people. He could easily learn the NFL CBA and pull rabbits out of his hat.

I didn't know they went for 2 point because I snoozed until I saw the end of the game Titans win in F/OT. WTH do you go for 2 points?!?!?!?! If you fail, you gave the other team momentum because they survived a defeat. I'm kind of happy that Texans really need a clean slate, no more BOB leftovers.

hasn't that been the theme for some time. Watson gets you the lead, defense surrenders allowing the tie and the OT score.
    2009 and 2010, same crap.

On the bright side, passing offense continues to jump. 3rd in the AFC, TDs, rating, yards and yards per attempt and I don't see it stopping.
Gonna stay silence on the running game stats....well.. they do still have a good balance of running plays ran it 23 times today from the RBs good mix of 2.7 per carry that's less than an Alfred Blue.

Ok.. but you’re still missing the point. Texans had a higher chance to win just kicking the extra point and forcing the Titans to get 2 after a touchdown. Which at the time, Tennessee had 1 TO and while the D was trash, the clock was in Houston’s favor.

So the Titans walk down the field and score.. guess what? The odds of getting the two is less than 50%. Either way, you go into overtime if the Titans pulled that off.

    This is not that complicated.
