    "The Rockets are planning to promote executive vice president of basketball operations Rafael Stone to general manager, sources said. Stone has played a significant part in the Rockets' team building throughout his tenure with the organization. Houston is also promoting Eli Witus to assistant general manager, sources said."

    So they are replacing him with General Counsel which most likely means Tillman's son will be making trades like it's his fantasy basketball team and the lawyer just deals with the mechanics of the transactions.

    Bring in Sam Hinkie and start our own “process”. When I saw that discussions between JVG and the rockets were carrying over into today.... I knew he isn’t a fan of small ball and the roster we have. Might as well start over man. This sucks and increasingly likely tilman will task the new GM with getting whatever he can for Harden and starting the rebuild
