Nuggets down 3-1 series now tied and going to game 7. They get down big and don't quit. Would the rockets have been better off playing the Clippers in round 2 or clippers would destroy the rockets

People here completely underestimated the Lakers. Rockets would have struggled with either LA team but people were saying here, oh I'm not scared of the Lakers, I'd rather them than the Clippers.

Clippers would have destroyed the soft, weak Rockets.

You don't want to be a frontrunner, when you're only upbeat when it's going well for you and your team. You have to have the same resolve, even more resolve, to pick others up and pick yourself up when it's not going well, when the ball's not going in, when you're not getting the shots you want. Anyone can be upbeat when it's going well for you. Whose got the spirit when it's going bad for you? - JVG

if MPJ had gotten ejected from the bubble after game 2 i guarantee you they wouldn’t be 3-3 right now. Our guys never quit you could see it in their faces that they were trying, but they were lost because they had no coaching

The funny thing is both of these teams blew up their franchise after trading franchise players away and it didn't take them a long time to get back in the thick of things. Just saying. It could be done.

    Los. Angeles.
Plus, Lakers (who have an appeal in spite of bad owners) and Clippers (who don't but have a rich, motivated owner who seems active but isn't as much of a fameball/in financial trouble as our owner )

(Course, it wasn't as much on fire...)

Well, the Nuggets drafted really well (stole MPJ in the lotto, Jokic was a mid-2nd rounder WTF?) and Kawhi wanted to play for a non-Lakers LA team, and demanded PG go there too.

There are a bunch of factors to consider.

If the Rockets morale was down cause House got some one night stand than we would never beat the clippers

How come Kawhi is allowing his team to blow a 3-1 lead? I’d understand if it was choker Harden, but god Kawhi? Nah, can’t be

Surely Kawhi should’ve ended a team he’s highly favored against in game 5, no?

mike malone actually makes adjustments, he is the coach that started the strange double team on harden early in the year when harden was averaging 39 ppg

Doc Rivers is overrated, he is a player motivator not a tactichian

Well Kawhi won a title last year
It would be legendary stuff if he wins three nba titles with three teams and three finals mvp

It sucks that Denver is having success with the way they try to game the system with their seeding practices. but it would be great if Clippers end up losing.

True. Outstanding job with the Magic of Darrell Armstrong and Tracy McGrady, but only so-so with the uber-talented Celtics and Clippers.

Hmm, why do you want Clippers to lose? All that means is an automatic Finals trips for the Lakers.

i've watched all the games in this series. when nugz make their comebacks from big deficits, they aren't hit w/ a barrage of phantom foul calls. their games do have the same plastering of brow-leroids promos during deadballs on league pass though
