Ok guys not talking bout tonight...but during the okc match up who do we start in place of russ.

    Here what we know:
1.harden will be doubled early and often, so either a 3 point shooting sniper or a playmaker i feel is need to combat that.

My vote is for Mac. I feel everything he has started he gives like like 18. And I feel his 3 has been the most consistent on the team so far.

I also feel mac and green are the 2 guys thats gonna be needed ghe most thwts not being talked about

Eric Gordon over Mclemore, he is a better ball handler and defender also generally considered a good 3 point shooter. Mclemore would get toast guarding either Shai or Paul. Second choice would be Rivers.

BMac, Green, EGo - all good options.

BMac and EGo have positives and negatives.

    Green only positive.

One way to mitigate the defensive slippage is to start Green over House.

Green improves defense AND gives Hardena secondary ball handler.

    Beard - BMac - PJ - RoCo - Green

Beard-BMac-Green all shoot 36% or better from 3.

We will see all the combinations I am sure.

It is the 5 that will close games that will be most interesting.

I think Green should be in that 5.

Then Green needs to start too.

Other than Rivers & EGo, Green is the only other trustworthy ball handler.

I would guess as far as minutes and lineup combos go Gordon will go in the Westbrook spot.

So I could see Gordon starting, being the first guy subbed out and then coming in for Harden at the end of the 1st or beginning of 2nd. Making sure 1 of those 2 is always out there.

It's either Gordon or Green. It will be adjusted as it goes along if things aren't working out well. I expect Gordon to start first because MDA loves him, but I'm on record before the season pause that Green is eventually going to start in the playoffs. It was trending that way and he's played extremely well still. I still expect it to happen at some point.

Green, Rivers, EGo are going to divvy up Russ minutes.

All 3 should expect to shoulder more offense in addition to their regular defense.

I think too many people here are underestimating our defense and ability to get stops against them.... I don't think McLemore should start, but he'll get significant minutes.... I don't like the idea of him guarding Shroeder
