Except he was a Democrat........ not sure why it matters, but whatever.

My question to you... is Trump and his daughter going to contribute to Harris' campaign like they did in the past?

I don't think it matters either.

He'll contribute in the form of soundbites. Kamala is gonna get broke off in the post campaign book deal. Then the lobbyists, she's going to make a lot of money off these two and a half months. Her sister will probably prosper as well, probably her own Cuomo style show on msnbc, pushing her further out my league lol

Kamala Harris was one of the leaders in the absolutely despicable effort by Senate Democrats to deceitfully smear and ruin Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearing. It was nasty, malicious and evil in the extreme. And now she has been nominated by the Democrats to be the Vice President of the United States.

Kamala Harris Was A Ringleader In Brett Kavanaugh Character Assassination Attempt

“Her performance during the Kavanaugh circus stood out as particularly demagogic, cynical & abysmal,” wrote TownHall political editor Guy Benson.

Within a few seconds of the first hearings being gaveled to order, Harris interrupted the proceedings in an attempt to shut them down on procedural grounds, part of a coordinated attack that included attempts by hundreds of compensated activists to get arrested. Harris, a former prosecutor, led a line of questioning that was an obvious attempt to put Kavanaugh in a perjury trap, albeit a trap he was able to avoid. Harris began by asking Kavanaugh if he had ever discussed Robert Mueller, the special counsel then investigating the Trump presidential campaign, with anyone.

Kavanaugh was utterly confused. While he didn’t think he even knew anyone at the Kasowitz firm, he was alert to the danger of a perjury trap. “Is there a person you’re talking about?” Kavanaugh asked haltingly.

“I’m asking you a very direct question,” Harris snapped. “Yes or no?”

“I don’t know everyone that works at that firm,” Kavanaugh said.

Implying that she had damaging information, the senator said, “I think you’re thinking of someone and you don’t want to tell us.”

Aggressively deceitful and absolutely despicable conduct by Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA).

Remember all of the shrieking protesters that the Democrats invited in specifically to disrupt the hearings? This was all as viciously nasty as anything any of us has ever seen in American political history. This woman is truly horrible.

This despicable conduct by the Democrats, as they tried to maliciously ruin a remarkably good man - on worldwide television for all to see - must not be forgotten. And Kamala Harris role as one of the ringleaders of this evil episode, must be recalled and remembered by everyone as we prepare to go to the polls in November.

Biden has told Obama he’s running again

President Biden has told former President Obama that he is planning to run for reelection in 2024, two sources tell The Hill. The admission to Obama is the latest indication that Biden is likely to run for a second term, something the president has spoken about publicly.

During a press conference in Brussels last month, he told reporters he’d be “very fortunate” to run against his rival in the 2020 election, former President Trump.

“[Biden] wants to run and he’s clearly letting everyone know,” said one of the two sources familiar with the conversations between Obama and Biden.

The source also said that Biden, despite his faltering approval ratings, remains the most likely Democratic candidate to defeat Trump. This was a key part of Biden’s salesmanship to voters as he sought support for this 2020 bid — and a big reason primary voters rallied to him in South Carolina and Super Tuesday states where he sealed his status as the Democratic front-runner.

“I believe he thinks he’s the only one who can beat Trump. I don’t think he thinks there’s anyone in the Democratic party who can beat Trump and that’s the biggest factor,” the source familiar with the Obama-Biden talks said.

With Biden's age, the DNC shot themselves in the foot coalescing behind him knowing that it's going to be an issue when running for re-election.

This isn't even me wanting a more progressive candidate. In hindsight Pete should have gotten the nomination. His age and cognition would not be an issue. It really hurts re-election bid when the incumbent has to convince his own party he's good to go for another re-election campaign run. It should be a given that the incumbent runs for re-election.
