Memphis vs Milwaukee Phoenix vs dallas San Antonio vs Utah Portland vs Brooklyn based on the matchups, Portland or San Antonio got a better chance of clinching the last berth.
Especially with the blazers being 6 games under .500. The rockets last year were 14th in the west until harden went super sayian and damn near got us the two seed if it wasn’t for a miraculous shot by Paul George. Dame is being praised for under achieving. While harden was slandered all of 2016 despite making the playoffs
I just don't get it man. Harden does what Dame does but better. Nobody cares. WTF. Is it just because Harden hits up strip clubs? WTF.
Harden got better allround stats, Lillard makes more shots at the end of the game or close to it. He is a Curry lite but better scorer, people luv to see him making consecutive 3s from way downtown like 2 or 3 ft away. Instead of Harden drawing contact at the 3pt line and going for 3 FTs. Style choice and not because he is more successful teamwise, he is not.
Lillard is very streaky. When he is on, he is Steph Curry and James Harden rolled into one. Harden is a much more consistent scorer (apart from a few trashy games here and there). That's why the high of Lillard is better than the high of Harden, but he is nowhere close to Harden if you look at his average performance. That's also why Lillard's top games are more memorable than Harden's.
I think the media are showing Lillard love because: 1) There's not much else to talk about, during this time. Everyone is pretty much set for the playoffs while POR/SAS/PHX/MEM is fighting for the last spot and the play-in spot. 2) Lillard is putting up huge numbers; Morant and Booker have had good games recently, but not 50/60 point games.
How are you going to be the MVP of the best basketball league on the planet and get tilted by a random dude on one of the worst teams in said league? Imagine Harden, LeBron, Westbrook, Durant or any of the past MVPs doing this. They would get **** on by the media. Golden boy Giannis is going to remain untouched. This is poorly worded by Giannis. English isn't his first language (I think) but he's basically saying "I wouldn't go back in time to that play" which is hilarious. Like I get what he meant in that he wouldn't do it again, but still pretty funny.
But you have to give it to him. Besides Harden and Booker he has been pretty consistent in the bubble in the games he has played.
I re-watched it, it was a soft head butt, lol. The league is getting soft but I am ok with the ejection not this media circus about it.
Doesn't matter if a slap is 'soft.' Doesn't matter if a punch is 'soft.' By the book, a player headbutt another player. If it was some random benchwarmer headbutting another random benchwarmer, this would be a non-issue. Probably would be shown twice on nightly highlights and that's it. But this is the MVP / future face of the league. And Giannis did this to Wagner after an obvious charging foul on Giannis, which makes it even worse / funnier.
Frankly I’m surprised the league suspended him. Lol that basically a normal drive to the basket for him.
