As much as I hate the Mavs... Lillard and his constant flopping is absolutely insufferable. Dude gets a call for someone looking at him the wrong way, if Harden got half as many weak ass calls as him, he'd easily avg 40.
The day after Lillard made his shot against Paul George, I must have spent at least an hour analyzing the trajectory of the ball as it was the Zapruder film. The 6 to 7 second mark of this video is what I replayed in .25 speed over and over again. Results were inconclusive, BTW. But it was fun.
I ain't saying he ain't impressive but most important to his franchise/market? Never seen anything like this? All for a play-in game and then the Lakers? He had a similar 6-game stretch in January where everyone went gaga then too. "Never seen anything like this! This is crazy!" https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardeja01/gamelog/2019#711-745-sum:pgl_basic
Will anyone mention how boring of basketball if was to watch Lillard shoot free throws all night? Or more likely he is praised for being unguardable.
Portland and Phoenix is going to be a great weekend battle. Two of the bubble mvps going head to head. Love it
Thanks. I was trying to check it on basketball-reference.com, but apparently you have to pay a monthly subscription now to search for historical stats like this.
Media fawning over Lillard having his scoring stretch... Just a reminder that Harden has had a 60 pt triple dub before (never been done), & 9 50 pt games last season (2nd most all time in a season behind Kobe since the merger) & 5 50 pt games this season while averaging 34.3ppg & #1 in 3pts made & 5th in steals per game. Like the saying goes "There's levels to this"
