You sure about this? I don't know myself but I've always known it to believe just LOB at the end of the inning.

Depends on where in the box score one reads. LOB on an individual level is the number of men left on base when a player makes an out (not just 3rd out). Adding up the individual LOBs, which is done in totals just below batters' stats, would not equal who was left on base at the end of the inning. However, generally at the bottom of the MLb box score there should be a stat called team LOB that let's one know the total LOB at the end of an inning.

Here is an example of what @Joe Joe and I are saying. Notice the 20 under the LOB immediately under the player totals. Then notice the 7 near the bottom.

Aledmys Diaz to IL with right groin strain. Taylor Jones is coming up.

LHP Blake Taylor said he cried when he learned he made club. "A lot of valleys in my career & a lot of peaks & I felt like it all paid off. It was one of those feelings I'll never, ever feel again. ... It was an honor to get told I made the team by a legend like Dusty Baker." "I thought he was going to faint, actually," Baker said. Dusty also said, "Most legends are dead. I'm not a legend yet."

Baker said he heard from Hank Aaron, Ralph Garr and J.R. Richard after his first Astros win last night. "Matter of fact, I didn't even know [Friday] was my 3,500th game. I guess that's a lot of games. I got a lot to go hopefully."

Dusty said he learned his team likes to have a good time after wins. "I haven’t seen strobe lights since my days, hanging out in New York."

Verlander clearly wasn’t himself in the WS with the number of innings on his arm by that point in the season. If not for the Cy Young I imagine the Astros would have tried to manage his innings more late in the season.

    Also, he looked great yesterday.

What a swing of emotions for Taylor Jones.

Sorry, you didn't make the team....

2 days later... welcome to the majors.

I fully expect to see the Lanny McCullers Christmas signs out there. Get it done. Lance looking to get paid. Expect great things.
