I know two people under 40 who were very active. One was a surfer and runner and she says she has trouble going up stairs. Another did Judo and BJJ and she has been dealing with neurological issues. Both of them got it in March and early April.

Unfortunately it's behind a paywall and I don't have the subscription but for those who can see it Emily Jensen is my friend and has shared her story. She is 34.

It's pretty much a crapshoot at this point. The Chinese government really did their research when they designed this thing and planned the attack.

    https://www.yalemedicine.org/stories/covid-19-recovery/

Assuming the low end of undiagnosed estimates are vaguely accurate with cases being 6x higher and assuming the worst case of 50% of people discharged from the hospital having chronic or longer term problems then that puts it around 99%. I'm not denying that there might be long term issues and I'm not denying that post viral fatigue syndrome might be hitting people with covid. Read up on that fatigue syndrome and CFS/ME and tell me your opinion. It sounds very similar to what @rocketsjudoka brought up and it isn't isolated to covid specifically. For what it's worth that cnn article that was posted seemed to indicate recovery for people suffering from lingering effects.

and @deb4rockets my point about bringing up women was that if you check out that post viral fatigue syndrome then you will see that it heavily skews towards women. I thought I made that clear in the post, but maybe it wasn't clear. I just thought it was interesting that 3 of 4 people were women in that story and that also 75% of people suffering from this syndrome are women....that's all.

Who knows all the true suffering at this point or months from now. Only time will tell. All I do know is things don't look good anytime soon.

Covid is a very unique disease that causes a systemic inflammatory response all over. You have microthrombi causing kidney and CV damage all over. I’d rather not post what I’m still going through but this ain’t no normal post viral syndrome. It’s a unique disease

You are making the assumption that being undiagnosed means that they dont have long term consequences.
We even have reported cases of asymptomatics who are suffering from long term consequences after their recovery like brain fog.

Fauci's first pitch shows he doesn't want anyone catching anything.

Meh. You don’t need a mask if you’re with your household when outdoors and not around anyone else.

Ah so now we can pick and choose when to follow the rules? Im not sick so i dont need to wear a mask.

This is why we can't contain it in a reasonable measure. Everyone thinks they know better.

Are you being dense on purpose? The rules are very clear. I wear a mask for 6-8 hours a day and every single time I go out to a public place. But I don’t wear one when I’m riding a bike with my family. I wouldn’t keep one on if I was at a park and the next closest person was 50 feet away.

Fauci is in an almost completely empty stadium sitting with people who I will assume are in his quarantine bubble.

It's still a really bad look for him, especially when the person next to him has a mask on.

This is my fear as well and I also know a couple people with lingering issues post COVID19. One has said it is like having mononucleosis for months on end and is genuinely scared that this is the new normal. He has a family with little kids and was extremely active. For example he climbed Everest a few years ago. He said he has gone from 6 hours to 11 hours of sleep a night and just isn't the same. The other one has breathing issues since contracting the virus. She struggles for example taking the trash to the street, using stair or sometimes getting up out of her car. She can do it, but gets winded and says it is very unpleasant.

I know the inclination everyone has it to equate it to a flu or cold, but this is unmarked territory we are in.
