Tilman giving refunds to all season ticket holders for the games that get missed due to the suspension. lol.. NOT
The fallout from this coronavirus is so freakin crazy. I understand the safety precautions for the health of everyone but the fact that it’s happening now...just, wow.
It's pretty crazy. I mean so far the only people yonpwrish have been either very old or very young or sick right? Much like the flu? Eventually we are all going to get it
No cure for atleast a year? You do know they've created a working vaccine, right? And you do know a virus can't be "cured" either, right?
Scientist for the last month - "This virus is SERIOUS, please take precautions, monitor health" People - "Lol everybody overreacting" *NBA and Rodeo canceled, Gobert and Tom Hanks have virus* People - "OMG!!! IT'S HAPPENING SO SUDDENLY"
Quick sketch to track who the Jazz have played going back a week and then who those teams have played. All in all the following teams should all be in quarantine Jazz Raptors Pistons Celtics Knicks 76ers Pacers Thunder Wizards Good going Rudy.....
That is what I'm afraid about...We played the Jazz on Feb 22 in SLC. Two weeks later Bmac was sick and the team has no energy. I bet the Rockets and staff will be tested when they return home. (Maybe they hadn't left for LA) Some may have a mild case of Covid-19. Sheesh, this has turned horribly. The news today has been scary...Montgomery County man first non foreign trip victim to come down with it. May have picked it up at the Houston Rodeo at the Rodeo BBQ bakeoff.. Houston Rodeo is cancelled...now the NBA. This is bad, Stay safe everyone.
Looks like I got to witness the last W of the season. Now i will probably be quarantined when they find out someone from the timber-pups test positive for Covid-19...
Virus expected to be active throughout the first two years, 12-18 months for a vaccine, a few after that for widespread distribution. Yep, your 2022 date seems good.
In a sense this is a good experiment for the world. We're lucky coronavirus isn't super deadly.. BUT I think these protocols in the long run will be good for us all going into the future. Officials will be able to look back and see how badly this outbreak was all handled and how fragile so many sectors we rely on are. We're going to learn a lot from this on how to actually contain a pandemic outbreak again, for now.. we are just lucky corona isn't super deadly
i can't imagine being an athlete and going through all the prep for 4 years only to have the olympics cancelled at the last minute. especially in those razor-thin, injury-prone sports like gymnastics where you might only peak this one time. maybe they'll just have them in 2021?
