If we only we had a G league on this forum for posters who bump outdated threads - you know, just a place where they can learn how to "play the game like everyone else" - get good conditioning if you will.
I like House, he's a solid young player with potential. But I need him to work on his lateral movement to stay in front of his man on defense, also continue skill building attacking the rim to finish drives when his defender closes out too hard. If he does that, rebounds and continues to practice catch and shoot threes when Harden/Westbrook are doubled he'll be just fine.
But, but, but if he'd been on the squad all last year we would of won the championship!! How could this be.
So he had a pretty good game defensively. Don't you think we need a better player in that position? I know he can get back in a groove eventually offensively from the arc, but man. I mean he has no inside game. How many times do you see him pass the ball when he isn't wide open instead of driving inside for a layup? He isn't good at getting steals, has a short wingspan, doesn't rebound much, and is just OK. Just OK is not OK for 29 minutes a game. I'd rather get someone bigger and better all the way around and use House in small spurts from the bench.
He looks like a player that makes a little over the minimum and is asked to play heavy minutes. His contract is his worth; no one has been duped. PS no one in the league sucks they are all great players or they won’t be there. They may not be as good as other NBA players but would be an all league player in any other league.
