Create a 3 point shooting team that has no 3 point shooters.
We dont even have anyone that is elite in shooting 3s. Really? getting Westbrick next to harden?
Get us the right guy or gtfo of the Team.
Seen enough trash for the past 15 years.

Yea Moreyball's a gimmick that the league has figured out. That's holding back more than anything

The "gimmick" that started a league wide shift in style and everyone copied?

Your suggesting that we stop the ideal shot profile method?

You think that is the answer?

You're absolutely right. Let's go back to dumping the ball into the post and letting our center make decisions. Or better yet, let's have every shot be a midrange 2. That's definitely the formula for championship success.

Shooting 3s is not the issue. The issue is having crap 3 point shooters shooting them.

The Rockets are scoring 119 points a game this season. The offense isn’t the problem. The defense is a problem and the lack of quality depth as well.

The Rockets now are giving up more points than the Blazers. We are giving up 6 more points a game than we did last year.

Actually it is partly the offense. The Rockets lose in games they dont hit shots. I noticed this in the GSW game. Harden started that game beyond hot he got doubled passed to the open man and they were bricking open shots. this is the big problem with the Rockets this season.

Every single offense is going to have games where they don’t hit shots. The Rockets had games like that when they won 65 games. The difference was they had their defense to fall back on to win ugly games.

The Rockets are shooting 35% from 3 this season, almost identical to last year and that is after adding poor shooting from Westbrook. Also adding wings that run the floor will open up more easy baskets in transition and also limit transition buckets the other way.

There are always things that can be improved on offense but they already are one of the two best offenses in the NBA... arguably the best. Defensively the Rockets are 20-22 in the league.

We gave up 121 points to Memphis, 117 points to Portland and 113 points to OKC. With improvements defensively we win one to all three of those games.

@Rockets4lf might be the worst poster here now that holic is gone. Fortunately he/she lacks any substance and is easy to ignore

    Yes
Thats why lineup with healthy prime EGO and Anderson was more effective than todays roster. Despite Ryno was garbage in everything except shooting

Holic's posts either had some substance or were entertaining in their smugness.

    RocketsElf? Neither.

That 35% is an overall stat which is why we blow out some teams. What youre not taking into account is that the Rockets have been extremely streaky this season. So in some games it looks like they cant miss and in others they cant hit a thing. This is why we are losing to teams like Memphis and Portland. Check the stats from the Portland game the role players shot terribly.

We just need a new set of Fs. What we got right now is no longer working. House should not be a starter and PJ needs a backup that has better offensive skills. We need a 3 & D wing to start in place of House Jr, and a long athletic 4 to backup PJ. These new guys dont need to be all stars either, just consistent players will do. I HOPE Morey can find some by the deadline or in buyout market. It would make us real contenders.
