The hits keep on coming. Sometimes I just want to eject from this season. With ratings down, the league needs a villain.

I don't believe Morey wanted to trade Paul for Westbrook. I've never been convinced no matter what is said in the media. Morey was overruled by upper management.

    It is what it is.

Regarding him and James not talking, no surprise. They were colleagues and not BFFs. Sometimes you become good friends with colleagues, sometimes you don't. It's whatever.

It is hard to know who wanted what. But one thing I feel confident in, is that Morey did not want to include the DRAFT PICKS in the the trade. That's why he said the Westbrook trade would be unlikely. Morey likely tries to *wait out* OKC on that. Tilman has been on record saying *the basketball OPS got cold feet and I pushed them to make the deal.* So Morey had to fork over the draft picks.

The consipiracy theorist in me makes me think Morey might have tweeted about Hong Kong on purpose because he knew this trade would kill this team and he did that to get out.

then he’s an unprofessional idiot and all that “Morey is a hero” talk this summer would be so laughable

of course he didn't. anyone that has followed Morey throughout his tenure and what he's all about knows he would never make this decision on his own. Westbrick is the complete opposite of what Morey preaches and believes in his brand of basketball

Not sure how/why people still argue this, have you guys forgot both "i know what we have to do" and Tilman going around telling executives how much Chris contract was ass? We all know who wanted to do this trade.

Which is funny because I believe @YOLO said he had a friend at one of the games who said he/she heard Tillman complaining about Westbrook.

i mean anyone can get frustrated at guys when they're just playing bad. That was just an example and it was just ironic tilman and his son were getting that mad when they're the ones who pushed for the trade in the first place. make your bed and lay in it

Chris Paul signing was the reason I became a season ticket holder.

I hated to see him go but with his decline regardless of fit it seemed like the right move.
    Wish him the best

Tillman wanted Paul dealt before the season was even over last year. He didn't like the contract and didn't want to pay a player that much money to not play.

The front office wanted to ADD another all star caliber player to Harden and Paul.

That wasn't likely to happen and at the request of ownership Paul was shopped. Then the GM was forced to address the situation when it went public.

Ownership wanted a splash, something to put their signature on the organization and then Westbrook became a possibility.

Ownership gets what they want at the end of the day and the front office and coaches and players just have try to make it work.

Chris Paul some day will realize that Morey did what he was told and no more.

This Morey and Tillman relationship is already getting old

I don't think it'll last much longer. This is far too strained as is. God bless the Rockets, they are speeding up the process with their mediocrity too.

It is time for Morey to fire Tilman.

CP3 regressed into being prime Chauncey Billups, and they traded him for a mess of a player with a terrible contract and lost picks.

Harden better have said it’s either me or him or someone should be fired.
