Rockets will probably finish anywhere from 1-3 because they beat all the bottom feeders. Problem is playoffs when they face teams that D up and are well coached which the Rockets lack in both categories.
Been watching Lakers games as well just to scout them out and they are pretty amazing defensively and their only consistent shooter seems to be Kuzma. The rest of the time, they just dominate inside the paint with Lebron and AD. They've been playing a lot of mediocre teams as well so their record might better than they are.
Didn't the Rockets literally just beat a team like 20 minutes ago that D's up better than anyone and is well coached? I could have swore I just watched that happen.
I know our +2.5 point differential is a lot dictated by the Miami debacle, but it would be nice if they can blow out some teams more instead of playing close games even against the scrubs. Make me feel better about being dominant. Minor quibble for an otherwise as good a start as you can reasonably expect given the circumstances.
Am I the only one not liking this kind of thread for jinx? What happened to us last time you posted a similar thread. It's still early in the season. I am just quietly watching our progress and enjoy it while I can like tonight.
I would normally agree with you on this, but I think the fan base needed this tonight. I'm cool with everyone having fun with this one.
Leonard’s been overrated on defense for awhile. For best defensder in the league he sure spends a lot of time on tucker. Dudes offense is mediocre when compared to real #1 options. Can’t assist and reliant on superior teammates to avoid double teams. Media like kellerman needs to stop swallowing this dudes balls.
I haven't watched the Flakers yet this year but I've always liked Kuzma's game …. He'd be the perfect fit between Harden and Tucker. I wish no good comes of that Lebrick / UniBrow pairing after all the tampering. I hate the Flakers more than the j*zz. The Rockets beat the Clippers last night …. but I wasn't real impressed with the defense , they gave the Clippers more uncontested 3's than I can count , Clips must have missed 15 open ones … Rockets have to play with more intensity on that end. Being short handed isn't an excuse for lack of effort on close outs.
last year rockets also played great when the gordon was out...he was shooting us out of games when playing
Why would you want the Rockets to always play Harden, Tucker, Westbrook, all our core guys huge minutes each game when fatigue and lack of depth can be major issues in the playoffs? I don't want another case of running out of gas at the end.
