Clippers players have been aggressively going after Iggy. Could this change his decision? I did hear that he was more open to Clippers in the past week. We all wait and see. It is what it is. Never count out Jerry West is what I was told by someone else.. :(

Iggy is old and washed. He will be injured by February.

I see the Clippers as our biggest rivals in the West next year. That team is going to make us hate Pat Bev... we better hope Tilman is willing to get Iggy before they do.

Pat, PG, Kawhi, Iggy is going to be a nightmare on the defensive end and they won't be a slouch either on offense.

Yes, their team is injury prone but they just need to stay healthy one playoff series and we'll be eliminated.

Hmm.. I thought the NBA was not allowing players involvement in recruiting players under contract any more.

    You're mistaken.

It doesn't matter when the big markets do it. Adam Silver prefers it, in fact.

Forget Iggy, Silver will never let him go to HOU.

Morey needs under the radar trades. First, Josh Jackson and Bruno for filler and SRP.

Hartenstein and pick for Nerlens Noel.

    Capela for 3rd superstar.

Then trade House and FRP for Covington.

    And sign Lance Thomas.

LOL. I know. But 3rd superstar does not necessarily mean an all star. Still believe AG being phased out in ORL. Isaac is starting to dominate and AG makes too much to come off bench. Keeping Aminu for that role makes sense financially and on the court. 3 team trade with BOS receiving Capela, Clark, Frazier; ORL getting Smart, Langford, McLemore; HOU picking up AGordon, Iwundu, Robert Williams. May also require Rockets to include FRP.

With above moves, roster would be:

    Westbook/Rivers
    Harden/EGordon/JJackson
    Tucker/House/Iwundu/Thabo
    AGordon/Thomas/Bruno
    Noel/Tyson/RWilliams

That is a deeper, longer, more explosive not to mention younger team that even D'Antoni would have the confidence to play 10 deep in regular season.

Also financial flexibility to aquire Rob Covington (House, Jackson + FRP) in 2nd half of season to shore up postseason run.

In a few months if we’re a top seed then we’re going to have to offer picks for Crowder. The long wing isn’t out there. I don’t see a better affordable option out there.

Don’t know if Memphis will be interested or if another team can trump us with a better offer but I think a Crowder Tucker starting front court is probably the best we can hope for.

Trade capela for love and sign a cheap big that can catch lobs. You won’t lose anything

I would love him as our new Center:mad:.

We really need a big wing. He might be old, but it does fit the bill. He is not ideal, but better than our alternatives. So I would welcome him.
