Just way too many games where BoB's teams come out uninspired, outplayed, outcoached, etc...

Goose egg vs. Chiefs in Wild Card Game
Goose egg on TNF vs. the Pats
Season opener vs. Jags at home after Harvey
21-7 loss vs. Colts in Playoffs at home

We haven't scored a first half touchdown in the our last 3 home games going back to last season.

Oh, well yeah. Successful assholes are tolerated, Terry Collins's are not.

    Unless you're the Texans.

I dont know why I clicked the "show ignored comments" but I did and lo and behold.

Im glad youre still alive after that continuous mob lynching you brought upon yourself. Just glad you got to enjoy your last meal. How did you order your crow? Well done, medium, rare? Whereabouts do I go to redeem my own crow dinner voucher? Are there specific days? TIA

O'Brien is going to mess around and keep his job another year because this division is so bad 8-8 might win it.

I have wanted him gone for years, but you know Cal won't fire him if he makes the playoffs unless Watson basically says if you want me to stay here he has to go.

I don't know why anyone is getting their hopes up. Buttchin trading away the next two years was a pretty clear indication that is the length of his leash. Just enough to hang himself.

I do not like O'Brien however I think it would be a mistake to fire him midseason. His teams always start out slow so this is not surprising to me. While I agree he needs to go eventually, the best outcome for this year will be for him to remain the coach.

maybe they are doing this on purpose so that they lay down the groundwork for Rick Smith to come back

Same thing (start slow and improve as the season progresses), annually, for the RAC defense. Hope they get some consistency upfront with the OL and some organic growth on the back end of the defense once the roles are more clearly defined.

    But that's the problem.

This team will start playing better and win a weak division, and then will get stomped by the first decent playoff team we face. We've seen this movie before, and this organization won't fire a 10 loss coach much less a coach that get to the playoffs. So we get to the offseason and we lose some players, then add some players to ultimately get right back to the same level of decent performance. Rinse and repeat.

The best news I could possibly hear right now is that BOB is fired and we're punting on this season. This organization needs a clean break, which we didn't have when we retained Rick Smith after Kubiak left.

Bringing back Rick Smith would be the ultimate Texans treadmill move.

Yeah fresh clean slate for Cal to really put his stamp on this team.

Mr. Scarface is either Bill O'Brien or his wife. I've come to accept this fact.

What if hes been Cal this whole time? Arrogant, ignorant, feels entitled and no self awareness. But then again that works for butt chin as well.

we get nothing from punting the season since we do not have our 1st round pick this year. I would rather have a decent team given the fact that us sucking will not really lead to anything positive. If we had our 1st then I would absolutely be willing to destroy this season
