    We are so damn lucky.

A lot of hate and vitriol on the board these days. It seems like everyone wants everyone traded. The "Kawhi over Harden" thread is an embarrassment, and I'm super happy a guy like James probably doesn't log onto Clutchfans.

    Don't give up hope H-Town...

He should probably take a stepback (pun intended) next year. His dominance mask a lot of problems on this team.

Love the stats and game he put up. It’s important to remember how hard it is to win a ship. At the end of the day this is all entertainment to do is distract us from our crappy lives. Sometimes it’s more important to appreciate the product. On a nightly basis harden puts up moments games numbers moves that are not forgettable. Appreciate them while they’re here. Cause they’re gone fast

Apparently Harden went into hiding and he was the reason we lost against the Warriors.

James Harden is the best player in the NBA.

If James Harden played like Steph Curry did down the stretch last night, he would be crucified.

Even as good as Leonard was, he wasn't always good down the stretch of games.

    easily.

he does everything he possibly can to lift a team full of role-players in a superstar era.

Nobody questions Harden’s ability. His ability is as good as anybody in the league.

The mental aspect is something that he needs to overcome. If he does, he’ll win a ring. We shall see.

I still believe Harden can win a championship for the Rockets. Just need to adjust the roster, move the ball more, and reduce his regular season minutes or number of games played.

Yep.was completely unimpressed with Leonard in this finals against a banged up warriors team. Not unimpressed in a “he sucks” kind of way, but unimpressed in a way where I call bullshit on the idea that this is the best player in the world.
He isn’t better than a pre Achilles KD, nor late prime Lebron, nor freak, and I’d absolutely take Harden over him and maybe Steph. With KD gone the raptors had what- 5 of the best 8 in the series? 6 of the best 9? And they still barely won, holding on by their fingertips, with KD playing 12 minutes in the series and Klay missing a very important 5 quarters at the oracle. Flip either of those scenarios and it’s dubs in 5 or 6.
Not seeing Leonard as the best in the league or this finals performance as vintage amazing ness

    57% TS% and 111 ORTG isn't really very good

harden is one of the best players to ever play the game. however i still think he needs a different mindset/scheme when it comes to crucial last minute moments. where he wastes time holding the ball at the top, playing iso or shooting a random step back 3 while everyone standing on the perimeter.

i just dont understand why we slow the movement down during the most important times.

How about the 35, 7, and 6 on 60% TS and 119 ORTG he had against GS this year?

His WS would the identical to Leonard's in the playoffs when it is adjusted for games.

He wasn't prime Jordan or Olajuwon in the playoffs this season, but he was still pretty damn good. The Timberwolves completely changed their defense for the express purpose of stopping him.

The best players in the world all had their moments in the playoffs, but they all also had really bad games down the stretch. Because there is so much pressure and attention on Harden, the level of scrutiny on him at the end of games is intense. If Harden played like Steph Curry played down the stretch last night, he would be crucified. If Harden played like Leonard did offensively in game 6, people would be harping on it.

The only other players that get that level of scrutiny are LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

That said, Harden should say he's injured no matter what the Rockets say , sit out next year and demand a trade to another squad. Worked for other stars.

    Better until Durant went out.

2015 was still his best playoff run and is comparable to what Kawhi did. He should play that way

I wonder if there are Portland fans saying the same thing except for Dillard
