Lakers could be #2 seed if they sign Butler and trade 4th pick/Ingram for a normal star.

Clippers could be #1 seed if they sign Kawhi and Durant.

What's with these NBA guys and making movies?? They understand that for the most part, most of them have the charisma and charm of a paper bag, right??

don't they realize they can always make movies in the offseason? i mean ray allen starred in a movie from milwaukee and boban headlined in his own super action movie from philly. even russ was able to play rafael in the live action tmnt.

living in hollywood doesn't guarantee movie deals.

As much as we have talked about Paul's decline this past season, LeBron is going to be declining too. There was evidence of it all this past season, but it will be a lot more clear next season.
Paul at least has conceded that Harden is the alpha now. I don't see LeBron doing that to most anyone, but definitely not for Butler. You never know how things will work out, people said they didn't see CP3 and Harden working together, but it seems like Bron and Butler wouldn't be a good fit

all he said was that Butler was Morey’s main target which really isn’t saying much tbh...Morey can lust after Butler all he wants, but if Butler isn’t planning on coming here then it doesn’t matter

Cyberx also told me Butler would more than welcome to come here and also said Morey is fairly confident that Butler will come here too

I'd be down for that and would go to many more games. From Cypress it's a reasonable drive.

Plus - and most importantly - it would be cheaper real estate for broke Tilman.

    Not surprising.

That said, I’ll cling to some semblance of hope we’re able to acquire him this summer. Barring something unforeseen, he’s our most semi-realistic shot at drastically improving the roster given the longstanding mutual interest.

"Legion Hoops" would be thrilled to be perceived as a legitimate source of information.

Rival Execs expect Jimmy Butler to get max contract offer from 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly preparing to offer a max deal to Jimmy Butler, who can become an unrestricted free agent this offseason by utilizing a player option in his contract.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported the update Friday on The Hoop Collective podcast based on conversations with rival executives around the NBA.

"I've been talking to some executives this week and the executives, I think, now believe that the Sixers will [offer a max contract]," he said. "I don't know about the fifth year, like, full guaranteed, but yeah."

Jackie MacMullen also agreed she heard/felt the 76ers would offer the max to Butler. But not sure on the 5th year. So it will be up to Jimmy if he wants to stay, but the money is there.

You’re clearly unfamiliar with politics in the US. Democrats and are socialists, and believe people that earned their money by working extremely hard should give it away to people that do nothing.

In Europe, the sides are flipped. Conservatives tend to lean socalist, because existing structures are different. Easy mistake to make, and welcome to the US.
