Normally when a team loses an all-star to a major injury, an all-star to a minor injury and a third-all star isn't the same player as he was in years past, that team would be dead in the water.

But nope. Even without Cousins and Durant, and Green being a percentage of his normal self, this team is still rolling.

 

This is going to be a sweep if they don't fix their perimeter defense, Blazers have no idea how to defend Curry or Klay off a screen.

 

Blazers playing really flat. Hell, this whole game is a snoozefest, where the hell is Logo Lillard?

This whole game has felt like a scrimmage smh

I was really disappointed Rockets lost to this iteration of the Warriors but damn Portland is getting blown out by them!

 

It really has, Curry has tried about 3 behind the back trick passes that I realized he never once tried against us lol.

It honestly makes me angrier because we were right there.

Well, good news for Portland is it is only one game, they will have to make adjustments but I really feel like Portland just has way too many sieves on defense to ever really make this a series.

Meanwhile, Durant gets to rest up.

 

We were the only threat to these fools but choked it away. Hope Bucks or Raptors can give them some burn.

 

I also have to say...the Oracle has been pretty underwhelming tonight and now some are leaving. So spoiled.

 

Ok, so you can say that Warriors are really talented blah blah blah

But the effort and intensity of the Blazers today is embarrassing, you would lose to a lot of teams playing like this

 

Rockets choking away game 5 with Durant hurt or else they would be here destroying Portland.

 

People can make fun of us all they want about the way we exited, but at least the Rockets can compete with these guys. And this game is just further proof that the Rockets are the only team in the West that can make GS sweat.

 

I know most people don't think so but Golden State is a better team without Durant. They play more as a team and they take their passing up another level. Durant is the best sharpshooter in the history of Basketball and it's amazing GSW are playing so well without him. As much as I hate them I have to admire their ability to play together as a team.

So they don't even need Durant for this series. If it goes 5 games I'm sure they will throw him in there so he can knock off some rust.

It's too bad Harden doesn't have the mentality of the Portland guards.
