I really feel referees are not calling fouls on his threes, because he tends to fall down on every shot now that they might just not want to call it every single time. Like Steve Javie says, they might think Harden is trying to fool them. Thoughts?

If someone lands under you, how would you keep your balance to stay on your feet?

If they can’t see that Klay is jumping into his landing spot then they need to retire.

So should Harden not fall and instead sprain his ankle on an undercut? Did u not see what happened to the likes of Vince Carter and Kawhi?

Obviously the legit fouls stand, but there are times when Harden does it when he's not hit..

OP isn’t saying he shouldn’t fall down. He’s saying it’s a cry wolf scenario. They don’t see it quite fairly if they don’t believe him.

    Javie said that was three fouls, i.e. 3 three-pointers, i.e. 9 points

Harden is falling to protect himself. Guy should have at least 10 FT attempts by now.

When someone takes a swing at your face, your natural reaction is to put your hands up to protect your face.

When someone keeps landing in your landing spot after a jumpshot, it’s a natural reaction to want to protect your ankles.

Harden is protecting himself when the refs are clearly not trying to protect him.

I would rather fall and have the ref think I'm trying to fool up over breaking my ankle landing on someone undercutting me.

Exactly! if Harden doesn't fall down he will injure his damn ankles like Kawhi with all that dirty sh-t Klay is pulling.

Exactly. You have to fall to save your ankles.

How can you keep shooting when you know you are coming down on a guy's feet?

It's the Matt Barnes/Bruce Bowen special. Amazing those guys had careers last as long as they did and nobody didn't end it for them.

the refs need to do their job...they should be protecting the shooter...Klay is out here moving into him and taking away any sort of landing space

i think the refs are definitely fooking Harden over with these calls.. it's getting really dangerous. but i guess this is why you shouldn't have that reputation of being a ref-baiter in the first place - fair or not - because that might come back and bite you in the ass in important games

One of the refs job is to watch the shooter defender contact

The reach on the elbow is far harder to see than the sweep the leg...

Agreed....it’s a foul and they need to call it. But that’s not what OP is saying...just saying.

So you’d rather him not fall down and try to land on people’s feet and probably sprain his ankle

That’s what the Warriors are hoping he does
