Have you guys noticed how many second chance points we give up? Dwight gets outrebounded because he jumps for the ball as opposed to fundamentally boxing his man out so his man can't reach the ball.

Andrew Bogut owns Dwight Howard. Dwight is so much more gifted but Bogut's IQ makes him so much more valuable.

It's like he only jumps with his arms out. No positioning, no boxing out. He went from an athletic MVP to a C that really can't do anything consistently well at a professional level.

He doesn't box out. He uses his athleticism.

Bogut holds and grab jerseys during boxing out. People never catch these things because Howard get call for the fouls.

The whole team can't box out. We just watch the ball and if it goes to us we catch it.

No he doesn't, he's been getting by on athleticism all his career. He doesn't even jump for some rebounds now, he just watches. Horrible player, Horrible Team, Horrible management, Horrible owner, I'm done with this team.

dwight has little to no actual big man skills.

in orlando he simply got away with outrageous athleticism. Now that he's declining your seeing how unskilled he really is.

Boxing out isn't a stat. You dont' get max contract by boxing out or setting up moving screen or tapping out the ball to your teammates.

Remember, those are not stats!!! Bogut is stupid.

Bogut box out, help defense, set up moving screen, move the ball around, tap ball out when he can't grab the ball.... STUPID AUSSIES!! Don't you know NO STATS = NO MAX CONTRACT?? Who cares about plus/minus, that's NERD TALK

Another thing that is maddening about Howard: He tries to hoard all those uncontested defensive rebounds; Sometimes when someone else already has the rebound. It sometimes results in a TO.

Those gifts Dwight has eroded significantly. He's on Bogut's level in terms of athleticism, probably worse now actually.

Beware those type of players who only rely on their athletic ability to perform at a high level. They will decline super fast once they hit their 30th birthday, or even earlier than that if they suffer some kind of injury.

Steve Francis and Dwight Howard. Different players, and yet same story.

And that's one of the reasons why I'm not so high on Westbrook, either.
