    Tyler White? :)

    Pretty special seasons for both.

It is hard to make it in the majors with no power. Does he hit the ball with any authority? He has a low BABIP, which may indicate that answer is no, but a way too small sample size. Only 5 extra base hits.

He is an 8th round draft pick, so anything you get from him is gravy. I just want to give a better picture of what type of prospect Garrett Stubbs is, especially given how starved we are for legitimate catching prospects.

    Stubbs's slash line is

    .263/.369/.305/.674

One has to like his ++ arm and his ++ eye at the plate.

4 BBs per K. Hmmm. A very Luhnow pick.

Stubbs may never be a prospect, but he still may have a long MLB career ahead of him.

I will now follow this guy like I followed Correa. We need a future Catcher in a bad way. Although we by no way have to have a top flight catcher to be a contender it would tots finish out a great system to have one down the pipeline.

The Astros are actually top 10 in catcher WAR, and 11th in OPS in the majors. Meanwhile, we are 27th at 1B and 13th (out of 15) at DH.

Thankfully, the latter are somewhat easier to fix.

Tucker's .749 OPS would be good for 11th.

Kyle Tucker with 3 HR in the playoffs in 6 games after hitting 3 in 63 games to start his minor league career. That includes a 3 run shot today.

And a big part of the reason so many fans are happy about the minor league system.

There is no way that everyone in the minors is going to suit up for the ML as a key piece. As there are only limited slots. But, K.Tucker has the talent to entrench himself on the Astros OF for 15 years!

Cangrejeros de Santurce, Winter League looking to sign Robbie Grossman

They selected Nestor Muriel second in first round for rookies.

I will put $1000 in the tip jar if Kyle Tucker plays 15 or more seasons for the Astros.
