Not necessarily but you actions after the sexual act speak wonders. Do you support your son financially? Is he supported by welfare or by you? Are you part of his life? Do you give him guidance that he is responsible for the choices he makes in life?

I have a hard time blaming a welfare program, society as a whole changed drastically after the 50's. I think a cultural shift is more to blame than any social program.

From that website's "About us" - "The American Prospect’s mission is summed up in the phrase “liberal intelligencelink

    "Liberal intelligence" is an oxymoron.

Please think for yourself and not rely on liberal websites for info!!!!!

Bobby, the statistics show it increased after the great society program. Is it fully to blame, probably not but whose fault is that. It is everyone's responsibility to raise their children to take care of themselves and not rely on the government for it. Statistics show that families with both parents at home raise kids who do better at life. Is it the white man's fault that a large percentage of black man have no problem participating in the sexual act that creates a child but tend to abandon them after the sex act???

Fortunately I've learned not to try to debate politics or history with bible prophecy tea party ****wits. You don't even know the difference between a chart and a graph but somehow you understand how civil rights, feminism, racism, societal values, and a changing economy affect single family households. Jesus.

I'm not sure why that's ironic.

It's the white man's fault for inaccurately labeling black men the way you just did.

Blacks birthrate has DECLINED. There are less black women having kids out of wedlock. Not more. It's just that all birthrates have declined. This idea of fatherless households isn't a racial issue - it's far more complex of a trend. Blaming black people is just weird and borderline absurd if not more.

As for the labor participation rate - it was FORECASTED TO DECLINE BEFORE OBAMA EVEN TOOK OFFICE!

That's right - you know why? Because of two reasons. Baby Boomers are retiring, and more young people are going to college. It will continue to decline until 2050 in fact all the way down to 60%. Which by the way isn't the all time low. That's another lie you quote from your conservative blogs. The low was 58% in 1956.

Please stop with your lies and falsehoods. Educate yourself man. At least use the truth to inform views instead of passing along your right-wing racist propaganda.

What, can't debate the actual facts????? You are truly weak CW. The facts speak for themselves but you would rather call names. Really weak.

Are you a man or a woman? I am not sure based on the username. Do you have kids? If so, have you raised them to depend on themselves in life or are you teaching them it is the white man's fault they will not succeed or that it is up to them to succeed in life like my parent taught me? Do you falsely teach them the deck is stacked against them? Do you even have a job or do you rely on welfare yourself????? I feel sorry for you!!!

Sweet Lou, I have never had a beef with you but lets look at the facts. Black birthrates decreasing is based on abortion (ie: murdering babies)! Labor force participation has decreased because there are less jobs and people have given up looking for them under Obama. Are you black?? Do you have kids??? Are you actually raising your kids??? Do you support them financially??? Do you teach them it is up to them to succeed in life or that it i the white man's fault if they fail in life?

Let me be clear, I believe Black Lives Matter as do I believe ALL lives matter. I am against any black person dying unnecessarily including murdering babies in the womb. I am against black on black crime as much as white on black crime or black on white crime.

That's another example of a correlation that IMO can't be listed as a major causal factor. I'm not going to let Lou get away with that nonsense, so I shouldn't let you either. At least hopefully you understand why I'm saying what I'm saying, I'm fairly sure he'd fail to follow along.

Welfare wouldn't explain the raise across the board, and let's face it, we know that "traditional values" kind of went out the window at that point. Fathers taking care of their children appears to be one of those.

Yes - let's look at the facts, and that is what honestly is bothering me about this stream of statements you are making. They simply are not true.

There are more jobs today in America than at any point in her history. 7 million have been created since 2012.

Abortion rate in this country has dropped by half in the last 30 years.

Labor force participation was expected to decline:

Bureau of Labor Statistics, November 2006: Every year after 2000, the rate declined gradually, from 66.8 percent in 2001 to 66.0 percent in 2004 and 2005. According to the BLS projections, the overall participation rate will continue its gradual decrease each decade and reach 60.4 percent in 2050.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2015/03/declining-labor-participation-rates/

Yet you keep repeating this things that are simply not true. That's why you are losing credibility.

Definitely. There's nary a hint of racist nonsense in your posts and that's why you felt the need to make this post because you wanted to clarify what was not evident by your posts. It's easy to get confused when someone posts racial stereotypes so often.

Well, it's certainly easier for some to get confused than others.....

Racist seriously???? That is really weak CW. So you refuse to answer the questions about your gender, if you have kids, if you raise them to help themselves or to blame white people??? That is really telling about you!!!

?????? I have no argument with you!!!! Societal changes explains some of the statistics but not all of them. The black fatherless rate is much higher than the white one, although both have risen. Is that the white man's fault when both have lived under the same laws? I say the same laws that caused the black rate to rise have caused the white fatherless rate to rise too. Irregardless, you can't blame white people for black people not being responsible for the babies they father or teaching them that white people are to blame for their circumstances.
