why can't buxton get a day off. it's what i don't like about Molitor. Buxton is batting atrociously against cy young pitchers. I ask you, friends, why isn't molitor giving buxton a day off ?????????? =) seriously, buxton got on my nerves last series and this series. guess we just have to tip our imaginary hats and give him his props.
In honor of Star Wars day at Minute Maid, here is my comparison list of Astros to their SW counterpart: Jose Altuve = R2D2 (short, awesome) George Springer = Han Solo (scoundrel, but a great leader) Carlos Correa = Luke Skywalker (young, heroic) Carlos Gomez = Boba Fett (lone wolf-type) Colby Rasmus = Chewbacca (looks like a Wookie) Jed Lowrie = Obi-Wan Kenobi (older, teaching Correa the ways of the force) Jason Castro = Yoda (mentor to all the pitchers) Luis Valbuena = C3PO (annoying, sometimes useful) Chris Carter = Mace Windu (has decent power, but gets outmatched) Do ya'll have any others?
Twins are lost at the plate, K is killing them with the off speed. Now is time for Gattis to hit a homer
It really is incredible. So many active posters (myself included) have basically just left the game threads for the most part because of him. Interestingly enough, he also has seemingly reduced the GARMification, because even the GARMiest of bandwagoners seem to be put off by him. And he somehow manages to be psychotic, whiny, and the BBS' most annoying poster without insulting other posters, so he is successfully able to maintain his un-bannability. Pretty soon, the thread will be all his. Seeing as how he responds to his own posts, it doesn't seem like it would be much of an issue for him. Truly fascinating phenomenon, the likes of which cf.net has possibly never seen. The poster who put up the pic of Randy Quaid in Major League a few months ago was the best call ever.
Honestly, sifting though this thread is impossible. I have him blocked but half of the other posts are people trying to debate with that goon. My posting has gone down tremendously. I may not be a great poster, but I enjoy the conversation with most of the guys on here. As long as that guy is still posting, it seems impossible. This board is a great place to be when it comes to fans. Restore it. Take a hint Can... post less or get out. You realize on page 8, you had 6 out of 7 posts? Take a step back and realize NO ONE CARES. Please. Stop. Castor, please do the right thing.
goon? another insult??? My friend, i am only talking baseball, and threads are for that, to talk. If you are watching a game, at least 18 times you should comment, as we should talk twice per inning. One person talks baseball, and gets insults, INCREDIBLE.
