For people who follow HS Football who are teams to look out for in the Houston Area besides Katy, Pearland, Woodlands, Kingwood ?

For the first time I will be interested in a non TX team due to Tate Martell playing for Bishop Gorman( Las Vegas) a national powerhouse each year.

We know DFW has the elite program of last 3 years , Allen high school will be W/O Kyler Murray.

Isn't Tate Martell the kid that uses deflated balls?

Tate Martell's game will be televised tomorrow on an Espn channel. They are playing Chandler (AZ). Nevada state champs vs Arizona state champs.

You definitely want to watch Crosby HS. They're returning a ridiculous amount of juniors, now seniors, from a deep run at state last season. They lost in the semis or final last season, can't remember.

They beat Nederland 35-17 last night all while commuting three turnovers.

Trinity beats De La Salle 26-21.

Let's keep this a Texas thread, please.

Yeah private schools. I remember playing back in the day. Tea time, followed by a nap, then a rousing game of flag or two hand touch. Yeah, it was tough.

Is Katy going to demolish everyone by at least 35 in district play this year?

I went to the game last year that was for the District title between them and C.E. King. Great game. I'm graduated from King and have never seen the stadium packed like that. King won and shared the title with them. Trayveon Williams is an AP RB committed to TCU. Looking for big things from him.

Didn't go to the game, but went bird hunting with one of the Marble Falls assistants yesterday. Apparently after MF took the lead in the 4th, the San Antonio kids started getting really chippy. Late hits, facemasks, going after knees, etc.... 2 of their guys were ejected before that play. The SA coaches apologized after the game, but it was pretty much met with a "why the hell didn't you do something about it during the game?"

Katy has allowed 10 points in their first 5 games.

    This must be good.
