3rd downs are going to be Clowney, Watt, Covington, Mercilus/Simon most likely. Which is pretty damn good.
Odd how that works. So far Kevin Johnson and Covington look like players, and McKinney and Strong have not impressed. Still early, but it's looking like the trend may continue.

I knew from the time he was picked that McKinney was the wrong guy to trade up for. Should have been Eric Kendricks, who will be a Pro Bowler in this league... but RAC likes size. League is evolving and he has failed to realize that the smaller dudes can shed with the best of them.

I agree, it's hard to believe. I said the Rick Smith special line tongue in cheek. It's more like a Texans special. Hit on the first round pick, whiff in the middle and then get solid value at the end of the pick. It's also interesting that most of the players the Texans have traded up for as far as I can recall have been busts.
Neither did kubiak or wade. they got players they wanted. there is too much belief that rick smith does the actual picking. never thought that was the case. did b.o.b just hire himself as the texans coach?:

I don't know why I bothered reading your post. You must have me confused with someone else because I've mentioned Teddy Bridgewater like 25 times in two years and most of the comments were eyerolls that someone else mentioned him because it would set you off.
