Gomez deserves the criticism he's getting. I really don't think he's playing good enough to be the everyday CF. Marisnick is nothing special at the plate but has been just as good if not better than Gomez since Gomez has been an Astro and is a better fielder then Gomez at this point.
Two out of these three runs could have been easily avoided. Conger's passed ball and Gomez took a bad route on a jam shot.

That Conger did not make an effort on that ball that was a wild pitch. That the runner was stealing but the priority should be to stop the ball in front of him
