    1. Click link
    2. Ctrl + F "City of Houston Parcel & Crime Details"
    3. Select that map (click the map thumbnail, not the text)
    4. Click "Content" at the top of the left pane
    5. Unfold "City of Houston HCAD Parcel Viewer" layer in the left pane
    6. Deselect "HCAD Appraisal Parcels"
    7. Hover over "Recent crime..." layer
    8. Click the three dots icon
    9. Click "Disable Time Animation"
    10. Click "Change Style" icon
    11. Select "Heat Map"
    12. Select "Options"
    13. Increase "Area of Influence" a little bit
    14. Click "OK" at bottom of left pane
    15. Click "Done"
    16. Click "Filter"
    17. Select "Offense" from drop down
    18. Select "Contains"
    19. Type "Assualt" in the text box
    20. Click "Apply Filter"
    21. Zoom Out
    22. Move out if you live in a hotspot

    South Carolina is definitely one of the smarter states when it comes to drinking. Dickel is some really high quality whiskey. LOL at all the fireball states.

    OP, if you aren't already searching the esri website - you should be. A non-commercial costs $100 and you could have access to their online datasets to create your own maps for your amusement.

    Came across this gem the other day. Here is the map of China as of 1910. That is a whopping 1/4 of what is today. You got to be kidding me. After WWII they took Manchuri, half of Mangolia, Turkestan (what they call Xinjiang nowadays) and Tibet. They have to be one of the biggest winners of the wars besides us. I understand those territories probably were under their control early on. But without WWII and us winning it, these ungrateful bastards would never have got those lands back. How come no one even mentioned it?
