another thing that's for sure, but gets taken for granted big-time it seems: altuve is effing awesome.

Let's get healthy... Tuve, correa, springer and Gomez can all be good to great. Add valbuena, marwin and an improved Gattis and we at least have a more than capable lineup to go along w one of the best pitching staffs.

Good last minute effort ! McCullers will be good from the bullpen but not as a starter in the playoffs

 

I'd bet that is the plan anyway. With Keuchel, Kaz, McHugh, and Feldman all pitching very well, they can have McC and VV out of the pen in case one gets in early trouble. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them is sacrificed to make room for Fields to return.

 

At least the 9th inning salvaged our run-diff.

Bullpen gave it up, but nobody's perfect.

Decent road trip.... Stros will really beast once healthy.

 

Bullpen, sure. But you might want to ask your starter to not walk the whole damn lineup. He put 2 of his 3 runs on base himself.

 

They tried. Just wasn't enough.
